Propagated Vidal Blanc plants in the ground!

Here's what we did tonight at Ripple Brook.   Placed our propagated Vidal 'babies' in the ground!  

Here you can see a couple lugs of propagation material we trimmed from our Vidal plants.  We used simple rooting hormone to stimulate root growth from trimmings from the parent plants.  The picture was taken about a month ago inside.  

Here you see our farm hands happily placing our Vidal 'babies' through what is left of our plastic layer placed down last spring.  We were able finish row #19 to the end!

After about 2 hours of working in the dirt we placed the last 45 Vidal 'babies' in the ground tonight.  Great job kids!
